Just Because

I love Stoney Bologna because when he smiles he opens his mouth so wide that it captures every seeing eye, warms every heavy heart and encourages countless hurting souls! Right now, I feel like writing about my little man; just because...

Today, the little stinker woke up way too early. Probably because all of his summer travels have given him "car seat lag". He was even up before the rooster went cock-a-doodle-doo ...

Notes: I love onomatopoeia words! And I do miss teaching elementary reading BUT being in a position to teach World Cultural Elements like art, language, religion, political systems, family life and geography is truly a dream come true for one who loves the study of people!

Well, when I finally let Stone escape from his lined, with wooden bars, crib at 6:15 a.m., I introduced him to his new Back to the Future automobile. Or in 8 month language; walker.

Nonna and Paw-Paw did buy one for Stone but it was left in White Deer BUT it was not a red-hot GT, black "leather" seat mode of transportation! I believe they are holding the other walker as ransom until their grandson comes back for another visit! Little did they know that I would just have to purchase another walker! Oh, please do not tell the pediatrician! Giggle shout-out for Casey and Christy! When his Nana showed up to our house around 1:00 p.m., Stone asked her to take a spin. With those precious words of his, I had to make a "family" memento video.

Before "driving" Nana around the tile pavement, Stone "bonded" with Mr. Man Elliott along with his kind-hearted mama Christy during the late morning hour. Mrs. Tem, we wanted you to stop by BUT you were still sleeping at 11:00 a.m.  Both Stone and I agree that Elliott is being raised by loving, kind and smart parents!!! Stone also said that he wanted this, this and this because these "items" will ensure an acceptance letter from an Ivy League Institution and if Elliott has them; so must I!

As I type this blog of Just Because I found that I really only care if Stone reads this blog. I want the joy that his dad and I have for him to be known to him---always!!! And, once something is on the internet...it is always there. So...may God's precious gift know that he is loved just because he is who he is...
